The National Centre for Social Research has today published the British Social Attitudes 24th Report. The report describes the state of public attitudes towards: relationships and parenting; cohabitation; gender roles; national identity; working in the public sector; prejudice; car use and the environment; newspapers; political participation; part policies and poverty. The Department for Communities and Local Government has released findings from the first and second quarters of the 2007-08 Citizenship Survey, covering 1 April 2007 - 30 September 2007. The release covers active and empowered communities; community cohesion; and racial prejudice and discrimination. The survey findings may be viewed here.
